A 90-Day Visibility Plan for Independent Nail Techs

A practical suggested routine for presenting and sharing your nail business.

By The Beauty Exchange · Updated · Last reviewed

A clear profile and a consistent way to introduce your work give potential clients a useful starting point. This 90-day plan is a suggested routine for independent nail professionals, not a promise of bookings, income, or a full calendar. Adapt it to your capacity and the clients you want to serve.

Days 1–30: make the basics easy to find

Start with your service menu. Explain the services you offer, your current prices, where you work, and how someone can contact you. Make clear what a listed price includes and how a client can ask about a custom design.

Choose portfolio images that accurately show your own work. Get permission before sharing identifiable clients, their hands, or their stories. Avoid presenting inspiration images as completed work. When sharing images in a post, add a short description of the service or design so a new visitor understands what they are seeing.

Create or refresh your BEx profile so your services, pricing, location, and portfolio are together. You can use discovery and messaging without connecting Stripe. A profile gives people an introduction; it does not guarantee new clients.

Days 31–60: share with a purpose

Choose a posting rhythm you can maintain. Rotate examples of your own work with useful explanations of your services and what clients can expect at an appointment. Give each post one clear next step, such as exploring your profile or sending a question.

If you invite reviews, ask for honest feedback from people who have actually used your services. Do not write a review for a client, invent a quote, or ask only for a positive rating. Request separate permission before using someone’s feedback in marketing.

Days 61–90: check the introduction

Read your profile as a first-time visitor. Are your prices current? Does your location make sense? Are your photos accurate? Is the next step clear? Use the questions people ask to improve your service descriptions.

Share actual availability only when it is current. Avoid invented scarcity, claims that an appointment is nearly gone, or promises about results you cannot support. If a client wants a follow-up appointment, discuss timing that fits the service and their preferences instead of assuming a universal return schedule.

Your choice about payments

A BEx profile has no monthly or setup fee. After you complete Stripe payment setup, clients can book and pay through BEx for services that support online booking. BEx platform fees apply only to bookings paid through the platform; Stripe processing fees apply separately. Read the current pricing page for the applicable rates.
