Choose a service category and a location to narrow your results. You can browse a city, a market, or a state. If there are few results, broaden the location or clear your filters.
Use search and filters
The search box looks for matches in business names, taglines, and service categories. Try a broader category if a specific service name returns no results. The language and accepting-new-clients filters can help narrow your selection. Open Filters on smaller screens to see additional controls.
Example 1: narrow your discovery search. Selected controls are shown in a fictional, simplified illustration.
- Choose a category such as Nails and a city, market or state. The example uses Alexandria; choose the location that fits your needs.
- Search by business name, tagline or service category. This is not a search of every service description or specialty.
- Use Language or Accepting new clients to narrow the results. On smaller screens, open Filters; the mobile checkbox says Accepting new clients only. If results are limited, broaden the location or clear filters.
Choose a sort order
Highest Rated, Most Reviewed, and Newest offer different ways to compare results. Recommended includes Founding and Early Provider priority within the selected market, as well as rating and review information. It is not a guarantee of service quality or the best match for you.
Read the whole profile
- Look at the service menu for current prices, descriptions, and durations.
- Compare portfolio examples with the work you want.
- Check location, contact information, and whether the Provider is accepting new clients.
- Read individual reviews alongside the average rating and review count. A badge or star rating does not replace your own judgment.
Contact or book with the Provider
Example 2: compare the details before deciding. This checklist is illustrative and does not endorse a Provider.
- Compare each profile’s service prices, descriptions and durations with what you need.
- Look at portfolio examples, location and accepting-new-clients information. Read reviews in context; a rating or badge is not a quality guarantee.
- Use the available messaging or contact options to confirm details. Online booking requires the Provider’s completed payment setup and a service that supports booking. Choosing a time also depends on configured calendar availability.
Use the profile’s messaging or contact options to ask about your needs and confirm details. Sign in when prompted to use messaging. Online booking and card payment are available only where the Provider has completed payment setup and the service supports booking. Otherwise, message the Provider to discuss scheduling.
Confirm service details, availability, and applicable cancellation or refund terms before making a booking. Do not assume every Provider offers the same booking options or policies.
